Fun & Funky Holiday Gift Tag Project
I love creating custom gift tags during the holiday season. It's such a great and simple way to add a special touch to any gift, big or small. Recreate this project or put your own spin on it!
Fun & Funky Holiday Gift Tag Project Instructions
Spray three white tags with a variety of Dylusions Spray Inks in complimentary colors.
Once you are satisfied with the color of the tags, set them aside and let them dry completely. You can speed up the drying time using a heat gun.
While the tags dry, stamp a star pattern onto white cardstock using black permanent ink, and then cut the stars out; set aside.
Cut out circle from white cardstock using a small circle punch. Use silver Stickles to outline the circles, and let dry.
Use a brayer to coat the circles from Dina Wakley Media Cling Stamp Textures with white acrylic paint. Randomly stamp texture onto each tag. Outline the circles with silver Stickles. Once the Stickles has dried, randomly stamp Dyan Reaveley Christmas Background stamp with black ink.
Lay Tim Holtz Christmas layering stencil diagonally across the tag. Stencil on words with white paint using the mini ink blending tool.
Layer a star, a bit of vintage book text, a circle, and a tidings token onto a tag and then pierce all the layers together, including the tag. Attach everything with a brad.
Remove original cording and replace with silver metallic cording.
